The David Boatwright Partnership has been established for over twenty five years and in that time has acted as the sole stockist and supplier for replacement parts for both Wheeled Coach UK and Modular Ambulance, prior to the latter’s sale to UV Modular Ltd. in 2003. Since that time it has continued to supply ambulance services (along with both retail and trade customers) with replacement parts.

The company has over seventeen years experience in providing ambulance services with replacement parts for their vehicles and fully understands the importance of a prompt and efficient supply service that minimises vehicle down-time and ensures that their vehicles are kept operational.

The David Boatwright Partnership will work with VCS to provide customers with imprested stock where necessary and to hold in stock, at their premises in Essex, sufficient levels of replacement ambulance parts to meet the needs of customers of VCS.


James Alpe

James Alpe Ltd.

The James Alpe Group employ a permanent team of around 70 staff engaged in motor vehicle services, with a dedicated vehicle conversions company within the group. The Company has been established approximately 25 years and is based in Clitheroe Lancashire. James Alpe operate on a 65,000 square foot dedicated primary site, which has an electronically operated gated security system and have also recently upgraded its support facilities with a new purpose built reception, display show room, office and administration block.  James Alpe have on site two secure, gated compounds which can house up to approximately 120 vehicles. All conversion work is carried out in-house by operatives whose skills include welding, fabricating, plumbing, wiring and auto electrician work.




Tamlans, founded in 1998, specialises in manufacturing minibuses, emergency tenders, and ambulances, on VW T5, VW Crafter, MB Sprinter, MB Vito, and Toyota Hiace. Tamlans are a market leader in ambulances and their ambulances are known by their Tamlans trademark. Minibuses and car seats display the name Pegabus. The group employs 70 people.  The key employees in the company possess very versatile and extensive experience in the car body industry and many of Tamlans' innovations are born from co-operation with their customers.
